I’m Chris. I run Andrd.shop from Indianapolis, where I refurbish, repair and modify iPods.
This started with an iPod I wanted to mod for myself. It grew into my everyday work, a large personal collection, and a shop full of iPods and parts.
I’ve assembled and tested thousands of Taptic mods, along with the iPods I’ve restored and sold over the years. Most of that business has come through marketplace sales and word of mouth. This website is newer, but I’ve been doing the work for a while.
I’m a collector as well as a seller. I like the original designs, and I also like seeing what people choose when they can put together something of their own. That’s why the shop includes restored iPods, individual parts and mods, and a builder where you can try out different combinations before ordering.
A lot of the work happens before an iPod looks finished: preparing wiring, testing parts, checking assemblies, and sorting out problems before an order leaves the bench.
I also repair what I build. If something goes wrong or you need help with a mod you bought from me, get in touch. I want these things to keep being used.
